This full-time position offers the flexibility of remote work, enabling you to provide essential mental health services from the comfort of your own home while supporting individuals on their journey to recovery and well-being. The salary for this role ranges from USD 85,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience.

Work Environment
This role is set within our Detox Center, where you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of professionals dedicated to offering integrated care. The remote work setting allows you to build meaningful connections with patients while maintaining flexibility in your schedule. Collaboration will be facilitated through digital communication platforms that promote teamwork and ensure the delivery of quality care.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate clients' psychosocial problems and apply individualized clinical social work techniques to assist patients and their families in resolving issues related to mental or physical illness that impact their psychosocial functioning.
- Conduct thorough bio-psychosocial assessments to identify barriers to treatment and work with patients to enhance their health status and make effective use of available resources.
- Develop comprehensive treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs, employing both individual and group therapy modalities.
- Collaborate closely with medical and support staff to provide insights into patients' psychosocial functioning, facilitating the creation of seamless care programs that enhance treatment compliance.
- Document all social work activities in patients' medical records in accordance with departmental standards and maintain ongoing communication with colleagues regarding case management.
- Educate patients and their families on medical, therapeutic, and social work recommendations, empowering them to understand and participate in their recovery.
- Advocate for patients' needs within the community, connecting them to appropriate resources to improve their social support systems.
- Consistently engage in professional development activities to remain current with best practices and updates in the field of social work.
Patient Population / Client Focus
Your work will primarily focus on individuals undergoing detoxification and those grappling with mental health issues. You will encounter a diverse range of cases, which will enrich your experience and provide opportunities to make a meaningful impact in each patient's life as they navigate their unique challenges.
Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Social Work from an accredited graduate school.
- Valid LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) license issued by the State of Illinois.
- In-depth knowledge regarding the aging process, human development stages, and cultural influences in the context of mental health.
Preferred Experience
While a minimum of six months to one year of clinical experience in a health or mental health setting is required, experience specifically working with populations facing addiction and mental health challenges is highly desirable. Proficiency in evidence-based treatment modalities will enhance your capability to address the needs of our patients effectively.
