Work Environment
This position is remote, providing you the flexibility to work from home while being part of a supportive virtual team. You will utilize state-of-the-art technology to connect with patients and collaborate with colleagues, ensuring that our community health clinic continues to deliver high-quality mental health services.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of patients to diagnose their mental health needs, utilizing various tools such as the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM).
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that reflect the cultural and unique needs of each patient, ensuring an inclusive approach.
- Monitor patient progress through regular evaluations and adapt interventions as needed to maximize therapeutic effectiveness.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of treatment records and clinical notes, adhering to regulatory guidelines and organizational policies.
- Collaborate with patients, their families, and other healthcare professionals to establish a comprehensive care plan focused on achieving desired health outcomes.
- Provide education, mentoring, and supervision for students and interns, fostering a culture of learning within the team.
- Engage in peer review, clinical collaboration, and coaching as directed by clinical leadership to improve care delivery and support team member development.
- Serve as a critical liaison between patients and external providers or resources to ensure continuity of care.
Patient Population / Client Focus
As part of our outpatient settings, you will work with a wide range of patients facing various mental health challenges. These may include individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health disorders. Qualifications
- A Master's Degree in Social Work from an accredited graduate school.
- Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) from the State Board of Social Work Licensure.
- Demonstrated expertise in mental health care, with a deep understanding of the aging process and human development.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues.
- Commitment to ethical standards in social work practice.
Preferred Experience
- A minimum of 3 years of clinical experience, ideally in a health or mental health setting.
- Experience working in a remote or telehealth environment is a plus.
- Knowledge of evidence-based treatment modalities and an ability to effectively apply these in your practice.
Compensation and Benefits
The salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
