Supervisor: Mary Sheree Bailey, Ph.D., Licensed Clinical Psychologist
About the Position
We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Psychometrist to join our practice in Jackson, MS. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about psychological assessment and enjoys working with children, adolescents, and adults in a supportive clinical environment. The ideal candidate is organized, professional, and comfortable administering a wide range of standardized psychological and educational assessments.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer, score, and organize psychological and psychoeducational tests (cognitive, academic, behavioral, ADHD, ASD, and adaptive functioning measures)
- Maintain accurate records and follow standardized administration procedures
- Prepare testing materials, organize protocols, and assist with workflow efficiency
- Interact professionally with clients and families during the testing process
- Support the psychologist in ensuring timely and accurate assessment results
- Manage testing schedules, maintain equipment, and follow ethical guidelines
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Education, or a related field (Master’s preferred but not required)
- Experience administering standardized tests (WISC-V, WAIS-IV, WIAT-4, Conners, MCMI, PAI etc.) strongly preferred
- Strong attention to detail, punctuality, and professionalism
- Ability to work well with children, teens, and adults
- Excellent communication and organization skills
- Comfort working independently once trained
Hours & Compensation
- 20 hours per week, could become full-time
- Competitive hourly rate (commensurate with experience) $10-$20hr
- All materials and training provided
