Key Responsibilities
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Clear Sky, your responsibilities will include:
- Executing comprehensive biopsychosocial evaluations to accurately diagnose and address the psychosocial needs of patients;
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans that align with best practices and current evidence-based treatment modalities;
- Conducting individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing therapeutic techniques to enhance patient engagement;
- Collaborating with our multidisciplinary team, sharing valuable insights regarding patient histories, psychosocial factors, and treatment approaches;
- Documenting all social work activities thoroughly and consistently within patients' medical records to ensure compliance and continuity of care;
- Providing psychoeducation to patients and their families, assisting them in understanding treatment options and fostering adherence to recommendations;
- Advocating for patients' needs within the community, enhancing access to necessary resources and support;
- Maintaining compliance with departmental policies, local regulations, and ethical standards as outlined by the National Association of Social Workers (NASW) Code of Ethics;
- Engaging in professional development activities, keeping current with clinical trends and community resources relevant to patient care.
Patient Population / Client Focus
The patient population will primarily consist of individuals and families facing a wide array of psychosocial challenges, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, stress related to life transitions, and symptoms associated with mental health disorders. You will work closely with such populations to provide tailored interventions that promote recovery and improve overall quality of life. Your role is crucial in helping clients achieve their highest levels of psychosocial functioning and well-being.
Qualifications
To qualify for this position, candidates must possess:
- A Master's Degree in Social Work from an accredited graduate school;
- A current state license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW);
- A strong understanding of social work principles and the impact of socioeconomic factors on mental health;
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities to foster rapport with patients and collaborate effectively with team members.
Preferred Experience
While all applicants will be considered, ideal candidates will have:
- Between six months and one year of clinical experience in a healthcare or mental health setting;
- Experience working with diverse populations and an understanding of the cultural dynamics that influence mental health treatment;
- Previous involvement in community resources and advocacy efforts related to mental health.
Compensation and Benefits
