Position Summary:

Florida Atlantic University is seeking a Graduate College, Director of Admissions and Enrollment Management, Boca Raton, FL.

The Director of Graduate Enrollment Management, reporting to the Dean of the Graduate College, provides leadership in the use of information systems, and data analytics to support the achievement of the University’s objectives for graduate enrollment.

Summary of Responsibilities Include:

  • The Director of Graduate Admissions and Enrollment Management supervises search services, application processing, admission decision processing, and recruitment and admissions information systems.
  • The Director of Graduate Admissions and Enrollment Management assists the Dean of the Graduate College in administering graduate admissions policies, and in development and implementation of initiatives to recruit a diverse graduate student population.
  • This position supports academic colleges and individual graduate programs through effective and efficient oversight of University-wide graduate recruitment functions, including, but not limiting to, drip campaigns, marketing and communications, and the on-line admissions applications (i.e., the centralized application services (CAS's) and the reviewer interface. Additionally, this position serves as a senior administrator on the Graduate College Executive Leadership Team and works directly with the University Faculty Senate, Graduate Programs Committee, University Steering and University Graduate Council regarding curriculum matters and enrollment management issues.
  • This position directly supervises the Assistant Director, Residency Officer, front desk staff, and other key personnel regarding curriculum matters, in addition to administering the policies and procedures of the graduate admissions program.
  • Administers, manages and supervises operations and processing in admissions and enrollment management of over 100 graduate programs which requires coordination and leadership regarding processing complex systems and documentation between the offices of the Registrar, Financial Aid, International Students and Scholars, Controller, Student Accessibility Services, Degree Completion and other University offices.
  • Develops and administers graduate admissions policies and procedures for over 100 graduate programs which requires working with other FAU units including, but not limited to: Deans and Associate Deans of academic colleges, Associate Provost of the southern campuses, Associate Provost of the northern campuses, Registrar, Financial Aid Director and the Provost’s office.
  • Supports the Graduate College, Academic College, and University leadership to develop strategies tailored to meet diverse graduate program goals that align with FAU’s Strategic Plan and University-wide Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Consults with FAU legal department regarding admissions and matriculation issues as required. Provides administrative leadership oversight of the application process for recruitment grants, academic fellowships, scholarships, and awards.
  • Provides enrollment analysis, forecasting, and other reports as to the various Deans, Associate Deans and Provost’s office.
  • Represents the Graduate College and the Dean of the Graduate College as a designee with various groups such as serving on the Residency Appeals Committee.
  • Other job related duties as assigned by the Dean of the Graduate College.

Minimum Qualifications:

Master's degree from an accredited institution in an appropriate area of specialization with six years of admissions and/or enrollment management experience; or a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in an appropriate area of specialization with eight years of admissions and/or enrollment management experience required.

Excellent management, communication, time management, attention to details, presentation, organizational, and relationship-building skills are essential for this position.

Salary:

$90,000 - $100,000 per year
