This transformative leader will drive innovation and excellence in graduate education by fostering collaboration among faculty, staff, administrators, and external partners and spearheading a new design for graduateeducationandthe GraduateCollegeatASU.TheViceProvostandDeanwillplaya critical roleinrealizing ASU's mission to support andelevate its wide variety of high-quality graduate programs and their faculty, staff, students, and postdoctoral fellows.
The successful candidate will serve as a passionate advocate for graduate education,both within ASU and throughout the broader community. They will develop a comprehensive approach to programofferings,ensure that policies andpracticessupport student success, facilitate interdisciplinary partnerships, and respond to the needs of corporate partners, emerging industries, public service organizations,andnonprofits.
An earned doctorate from an accredited institution in one of the disciplines representedintheUniversityandadistinguishedrecordof scholarship,teaching,and professional accomplishmentsthatmerit appointment asaFullProfessor withtenure inoneof ASU's academic units.

Experience teaching graduate-level courses and providing direct mentorship to graduate students
